Building Success Together: Inside a Women-Owned, Women-Led Business
In today’s evolving business landscape, representation matters, but so does execution. As a women-owned business powered predominantly by women, our story is not just about who we are; it’s about how we work, lead, and grow.
Women own over 40% of all businesses in the US, with estimates ranging from 42.7% to over 44% depending on the data source and definition of small business. These roughly 13–15 million women-owned firms generate nearly $2.7 trillion in annual revenue and employ over 10 million workers. This growing presence reflects a broader shift, one where women-led organizations are not just participating in the economy, but actively shaping it.
From day one, we built our company on a foundation of resilience, collaboration, and accountability. Like many entrepreneurs, our journey hasn’t been linear. We’ve navigated uncertainty, balanced competing priorities, and learned to make decisions quickly with limited resources. What sets us apart is how we’ve approached those challenges, with a strong sense of shared ownership and a commitment to lifting each other while moving the business forward. This mindset is deeply aligned with our core values at Entire Productions: being collaborative, embracing efficient excellence, staying growth-minded, choosing to own It, and remaining scrappy in how we problem-solve and execute.
As a 19 woman-led workforce brings distinct strengths that shape how we operate. Communication tends to be more intentional. Collaboration is not just encouraged, but it’s expected. Across teams, there is a natural emphasis on listening, empathy, and clarity, which leads to better problem-solving and stronger outcomes. These aren’t soft skills; they are strategic advantages in a competitive environment. They reflect our collaborative nature and growth-minded approach, where strong relationships and continuous learning drive better results.
Hard work is often talked about, but rarely unpacked. For us, at Entire Productions, it means consistency over time, showing up prepared, meeting deadlines, and holding a high bar for quality, even when no one is watching. It also means being adaptable. Many of our team members wear multiple hats, developing cross-functional skills that make the organization more agile and resilient. This is where efficient excellence and a scrappy mindset come together, allowing us to maintain high standards while staying flexible and solutions-oriented.
One of the most important lessons we’ve learned is that success is not built in isolation. Mentorship, both formal and informal, plays a critical role in our growth. We actively share knowledge, create space for questions, and invest in each other’s development. This creates a culture where learning is continuous, and improvement is expected, not optional. Supporting each other’s growth is a direct reflection of being Growth-Minded and Collaborative in how we operate every day.
Being a women-owned business also comes with a responsibility to lead by example. Representation opens doors, but performance keeps them open. We focus on delivering results, whether that’s for our clients, our partners, or our internal goals. By doing so, we contribute to a broader shift in how women-led organizations are perceived: not as exceptions, but as standard-bearers of excellence. Owning our work and holding a high bar through efficient excellence ensures we consistently deliver on that responsibility.
A single milestone does not define our success. It’s reflected in the systems we’ve built, the trust we’ve earned, and the team we continue to grow. Most importantly, it’s seen in our ability to sustain momentum, working hard not just to achieve results, but to build something that lasts.
At its core, our story is simple: a group of driven women committed to doing meaningful work, supporting one another, and proving, day in and day out, that dedication and discipline truly drive success.
